i lost my bike key again. seriously retarded. i don’t know how i lost it but it was around my workplace. now my precious is at the workshop waiting for a new set of keys for the bike and the box that’s costly. i can’t get my bike till mon or tues. THIS IS SHIT lor! 

Spent my weekend at home watching F1. I almost doze of on saturday during the qualifying until like the last few lap of the race. But the final was quite entertaining haha. followed through the whole 61 or is it 60 laps? Damn it that ferrari didn’t made it but whao much stories to tell. Massa is so happening!

The adventage of watching F1 at home on the tv is that you get to catch every action. quite duh to take picture of the tv screen but just look at the pics…action action! too bad Raikkone crashed. he almost had the chance to race up to Hamilton (01 & 02 pic). In the 4th pic, Nelson of Renault crashed but cuz’ he was distracted by Massa hahaha. Massa had to go through the 10secs penalty still nevermind he drove off with the fuel hose on he’s vehicle and made one of he’s man flip to the ground at the pit stop. I so wanted to shout out HOO! and clap my hand! That was really something to watch..not in a bad way. I enjoyed it totally. Ok i’m morbid.

Finally it was Alonso who ended the race in first place.

Maybe it’s the working place that requires alot of thinking and concepts and more concepts that actually in turn helped me figure out a “concept” for MM’s new official photo. I was walking out to lunch aimlessly and i found a really cool space. Immediately i could visualise what we should be doing with the fabulous space and bang! We finally have our new official photo plus many funny pics (major plus). I’m so glad i have full control over the design direction and we don’t have to wait for others to get our things done. 

We don’t only make marvelous music… we have marvelous moves too. haha.

this is crazy shit! just now i received the snail mail zouk flyer and it got me all excited because Stephane Pompougnac is coming!! omgomgomgomgomgomg! *faints*

30th sept, tues. seriously, don’t doubt just head down zouk. maybe “Hotel Costes” ring a bell? Yes! he’s the man! seeya there!

another thing to be excited about is the coming week, we’re meeting the awesome music ppl to help produce our ep. good stuff good stuff!

after getting all tied up at work for the week. i destressed over at hub + john’s crib in the east with hon. though we talked about work life, we had a good round of choc-a-bloc cake topped with rasberry ice cream + fagging our life away. reminds me of school days, des, deon and myself always indulge in tubs of ben & jerry. we’re suckers for sweet stuff. SWEET!

the crib was really nice! i felt as if i stepped into a tropical resort. even the game we played were made of wood. and that’s “jenga”. what a down to earth weekend. i like.

Maybe a year plus doesn’t seem that long afterall but we’ve done quite a number of songs together, considering the series of fortunate events we have been blessed with. We, refering to my band, Midnight Marvel.

I was just listening to Tegan & Sara’s album when “Speak Slow” & “I Hear Noises” came on. Reminded me of the first time BBMak asked me to go try sing for the band and i thought “Why not? Just do it!”. Played the songs we covered and i swear i smiled to myself. This is probably what i’ll do when we’re too old to rock out. Flip old gig pictures, listen to songs we’ve recorded and smile. Someone ever said to me, “I’m happy for you that you go ahead with your dreams and you keep on doing it.” Which again reminded me when my mom was still around, i used to sing the karaokie for her and i said one day i will become a singer and earn alot of money to support her. Of course, i’m not saying i’ve done it now but at least i am a vocalist haha.

I never thought i would write songs. And when i did who cares how simple the lyrics are really? I wrote what i really felt like writing which meant something but it didn’t had to be a picture clearly painted. We played many power chords but that’s how we want to express it. It’s Bam Bam Bam and Bang! This is how we like it.

By far, we’ve covered “Speak slow”, “I hear noises”, “Denial twist”, “Shut up & drive”, “Cheated Hearts”, “It’s gettin’ boring by the sea”, “I hate to say I told you so” & “Rock ‘n’ Roll queen”. Wrote 2 songs “Or was i” & “Uh yeah” which were scrapped, wrote a chinese song (haha it was fun) which we won’t be playing it again most definitely. To now, we’ve 8 songs. I will call that my band accomplishment. Hell yeah! All hasn’t gone to waste. Best of which, we rocked out with many supportive friends who showed us how they enjoy our music.

See this is what i meant by, we’ve come a long way.

30th Aug, Saturday 6pm would be the day (Baybeats) when we will try to show how deep our passion is for our music. So please do share! ahah. Head on down to Esplanade Nokia Stage and rock with us! This could be one of the biggest stage we could perform on. It’s gonna be really memorable.

on the way riding to the doctor, highway poured. i had to stop under the overhead bridge to wear the gears. totally pissed off and partially drenched. i reached the clinic to see a freaking long Q out the clinic. nevermind. i waited 2hrs for my turn. and the doctor omg! i so felt like strangling him. he pressed my eyeballs so hard i felt as if it would pop out by the sides. and he was unmerciful in poking and torturing my eyelids. i had problem looking and walking to get a stupid cab.

back home, i found “cash” dead. nabey. with me being almost blind with the bandage and the swollen eyes i had to take “cash” away, change the water, wash the pebbles and feed “coby”. arrgh!

on a lighter note, Happy Birthday to enzo whom i always called amos.

micheal phelps is a fish. a merman. so freakingly amazing.
lin dan is the star of badminton. i like ’cause he looks like jau chou. haha
female volleyball is nice to watch, you know la..ladies in tights (gosh i sound like a pervert).
female soccer, lesgirls, lesgirls more lesgirls.
weightlifting, omg unbearable to watch, hard to digest, weights make dwarfs.
apparatus looks so hard! i fear they would break a neck or something, zou kai is a cute young boy.
broad shoulder tao li rank 5th. not bad. 
singapore won silver for table tennis. give them a break, they’ve already done proud.

i love watching synchronise diving but always bad timing. damn it la!

the cyst on my left eye is so big n sore now my eyelids haywire. i need dr. cheah! don’t feel like going to work with this stupid ugly eye.
